I’ve been running a YouTube channel called Game Taco (formerly GameTacoFTW) since 2012. It’s a channel dedicated to gaming, a hobby of mine. This website, GameTaco.live, was created to go alongside my channel.
There were several things I wanted from this website. I wanted the purpose to be two-fold: increase the SEO of my videos through embeds and links, and serve as an archive of all my videos. The videos are essentially front and center, embedded at or near the top of every page. I imported every single public video from my channel as a post – over 400 of them!
Creating this page was largely an experiment for me, and I’m very happy with how it turned out
